V for Vendetta

V for Vendetta (2005)
Rated R for strong violence and some language.
123 min
Staring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving

Remember the 5th of November...
The movie takes place in a future society where the government controls everything, including a national curfew. The main character of the movie, V (Weaving), fights towards freedom from his controlling society through terrorist attacks. He wants the country to help him revolt on the 5th of November with him. He ends up saving Evey's (Portman) life and then she ends up saving him and saving him as well. The movie shares V's life and Evey's life and how they have become the people they are today.

I really enjoyed this movie. There was action, romance, and fireworks... what more could you ask for? It is one of those movies that makes you wonder if the would could/will ever come to similar circumstances. I wouldn't recommend that you bring younger children; first because of the violence and second because there is a lot they wouldn't understand in the movie. But if you are up for an action movie that questions possibilities, this one is for you!

and here is the trailer for you!
